This week at Benedictine from September 15th to 20th is Homecoming Week! This is the one of the funnest weeks at school, because there is something to do every day.
Monday: Carnival in the Quad! This is one of my favorite days because it is so fun and laid back. There is FREE food, a mechanical bull, a velcrow wall, bouncy house, and a obstacle course.
Tuesday: Mission Improvable! There will improv for all students to be apart of in Coal Ben.
Wednesday: There will be FREE ice cream in Coal Ben for students at 7:30 pm. (Who doesn’t love ice cream?)
Thursday: Okay I lied, this is my favorite day. TIE DYE T-SHIRTS! At noon, there is a huge line of people getting free homecoming t-shirts and tie dying them. I love making them! Float decorating for the parade on Friday takes place at 8pm in the parking garage third floor.
Friday: At 12pm the homecoming parade will take place. At 12:30 in Neuzil parking lot, is when the pie eating contest and homecoming events will take place. Today is the dane at Harry Carry’s in Lombard. There is free transportation, full course meal, music, and a good night all for $10 per person. The dance takes place from at 7pm-12am.
Saturday: Today is the day that we have all been waiting for, the football game! The football game begins at 6:30pm, but there will be tailgating begins at 4pm for families and students that are older than 21. After the game, there is karaoke night in Coal Ben at 9:00 pm.
