Finals week can be very stressful, which is why the students from Benedictine’s Positive Psychology class want to ease the pressure. We all love acts of kindness, whether it is because we feel good doing them or it feels good to receive them. With this stressful week ahead of students, the Positive Psychology class ask that if you receive an act of kindness, that you provide an act of kindness in return. Not only will it make you feel great, but also you will get the rewarding feeling of positively impacting someone else’s day. These can be small acts that take seconds to complete.
Things that you can do to help a fellow student include:
- Holding the door open
- Smiling at a strager
- Buying someones coffee
- Giving a compliment
- Writing a thank you note
With finals week in full swing, students may feel a lot of stress. With the “pay it forward” method you can lend someone a helping hand and make their day a little better. Just a smile can change someones day!
